As part of my summer Getting Ready for the New School Year series, this post looks at some common policy documents provided and maintained by the district offices. You should always point to these documents for any policy references.
Two of these documents are available in multiple languages: Code of Student Conduct and Parent Guide. Rather than use the above links, you can point to a common OCPS District Web Site page (https://www.ocps.net/departments/marketing_and_events/publications/code_of_student_conduct_and_parent_guide/) for these two documents which are available in 6 common languages: English, Spanish, Haitian-Creole, Portuguese, Vietnamese, and Arabic. Pointing to this page allows the user to select the language in which they want to view the document.
Additional documents may be added to this common library over time. If so, the change will be posted here.
