Back in November of 2017, we asked schools to check their links to Destiny as many links were either resulting in errors, prompting the user to log in or simply did not exist on the site. We have noticed that there is still a problem at many school sites with the link to Destiny.
It was discovered at that time that links that went to https://ocps.follettdestiny.com/common/welcome.jsp?site=xxx where xxx was the school id number prompted the user to log in. However, directing the Destiny link to http://destiny.ocps.net did not prompt for a login (this link points to a directory page of all OCPS schools from which your specific school can be selected). I know it is an inconvenience to your site’s visitors to have to select your school from this directory page when they already know what school they are on, but I am going to suggest that you set the link to http://destiny.ocps.net
If you do not have a link to Destiny, please add one. If you have another link that works both inside and outide of OCPS, great. Please report that in the comments to this blog. Otherwise, please change your link to: http://destiny.ocps.net.
