Dates and Spelling Within Documents and Titles Do Matter

When you include a date in a document such as the school supply list shown below and that date is for a past year, there is always doubt as to whether that document still applies because nothing has changed or whether the document was simply not updated in the current year when it should have been. Now I’m not recommending that you remove all dates because that creates another type of doubt. However, I am recommending that you check all documents every school year to see if they are current. Always keep a copy of your source documents. Store them in your school collaboration site if you want a safe place where anyone within your school can access them. That way, even if nothing has changed, all you need do is update the dates of the document and republish.

Another thing. Always check your spelling. It reflects poorly on a school when spelling and grammar are incorrect. It might make a parent question what their child might learn (or not learn) at your school.
